Digital Imagery

To develop our photography skills we walked around the school and took photographs using Ipads, we then discussed how photographs can be changed and by who and why. do you think it's a good idea to change photographs after they have been taken? We then used Power point to change our photographs.

When we went to the National History Museum we applied our knowledge of taking photographs by taking photographs as we went around the museum. In our next Computing lesson we used Power point to alter these photographs.

Here are some of our Power points where we changed the photographs we had taken.

Our Project

Over the next few weeks our Computing project is to present information about our history topic, London Across the Ages. We have started planning based on what we know so far and will be presentating our work in a range of ways before we break up for the holidays.

Each group has a different century to research from the 17th to the 21st. What do you know about these centuries?

E-safety

Year 4 watched this video, which is from CEOPs Thinkuknow education programme and helped our classes children to understand what constitutes personal information. It helped Year 4 to understand that they need to be just as protective of their personal information online, as they are in the real world. We also discussed how to be safe on any device which has access to the internet.
