At Aylward, we are committed to providing our pupils with a broad range of enrichment opportunities that extend and enhance the learning that takes place in the classroom. Throughout the academic year, pupils will take part in a variety of experiences both within school and in the wider community. We aim to keep the cost of these opportunities as affordable as possible for families. Where appropriate, we make use of TfL’s travel scheme, and pupils will walk to destinations that are within a 30-minute walking distance of the school.

Each year group will have a range of enrichment opportunities throughout the academic year, usually with at least one opportunity each half term. In addition, children may also be invited to sports competitions, maths tournaments, chess competitions, books awards and more.
