At Aylward, we have always tried to make the purchase of school uniform an easy process for parents and have sold uniform via the School Office. Over the past couple of years, it has become increasingly difficult to find suppliers who will deal directly with schools. Our current provider stopped trading recently and this has led to a review by our School Governors on how best to supply the uniform in the future.
We are therefore writing to advise that with effect from Tuesday 13th June 2023, like most schools, we will no longer sell school uniform at Aylward. We feel this change is beneficial to the school and to parents.
Our new supplier is Uniform4Kids; a family run business consisting of a group of five school uniform and sportswear retail stores in North London. They have strong relationships with ethical clothing manufacturers and suppliers and always aim to keep prices affordable whilst maintaining the quality and durability of the garments. Aylward School Uniform can be purchased in-store at Pullens in Stanmore from the 19th June 2023.
We are very proud to offer a pre-loved uniform service at Aylward Primary School.
We welcome donations of school uniform that your child has outgrown or no longer needs.
The aim is to help parents/carers purchase uniform at a heavily discounted rate, at regular sales held throughout the year; these are organised by Friends of Aylward (PTFA).
This serves to help the community in our current cost of living situation while also providing an environmentally friendly way to recycle and reuse school uniform.
